Murder Never Dies
Two brothers, a disputed multi-million-dollar fortune, a raging electrical storm in the Ozarks and a double murder begin a tale of familial greed that spans eighty years. A descendent of the brothers hires ex-spy and New York PI, Hank Tower, to prove one of the two brothers, both long dead, was a murderer. He’s promised a large fee, if he can.
To solve it, Tower has to deal with family heirs that include a beautiful lesbian (or is she), her hot-headed, greedy brother, a scheming, ruthless cousin, a dying, rich uncle, a mysterious sister missing for 45 years, a hitman, two armed thugs and a kidnapping.
The investigation takes him and his associate, an ex-NYPD sergeant, from Manhattan to Missouri’s Ozark Mountains, the oil boardrooms of Tulsa, a mansion in Bronxville, NY, and a frozen Niagara Falls. Gradually, Tower unravels the eighty-year mystery, only to unleash a murderer’s vengeance for doing so.
